Prepare.
Gear up at your haven. Take stock of your fuel, weapons, and provisions, then choose what to bring on your next expedition.
The Triangle is coming apart. Your crew is gone.
Island-hop, scavenge, and extract through haunted shores and dark zones where hell bleeds into our world.
Targeting Summer 2027 / PCVR only / A PC and VR headset required
Not a zombie game. Zombies are just one of ten enemy archetypes.
Violent storms have made the Bermuda Triangle unstable. A naval vessel is sent to investigate. You're part of the reconnaissance team sent ashore. Then everything goes dark.
You wake beside your boat. A little fuel. Basic provisions. A radio. No sign of your team. A broken transmission from your ship is all you have to go on.
You've been unconscious for more than a week. Your ship is still out there, searching for you. Can you follow its signal and find your way back?

Moving in to investigate. If you... [static]
Attempt to rendezvous there.
Please respond. Over.”
An island-hopping horror extraction shooter, built for PCVR. Follow your ship's trail through haunts and dark zones. Your boat is your way forward, but reaching the next shore is only the beginning.
Gear up at your haven. Take stock of your fuel, weapons, and provisions, then choose what to bring on your next expedition.
Search the islands for supplies and signs of your crew. Face hostile creatures, unsettling haunts, and dark zones where the ordinary world gives way to hell.
Make it back to your boat with what you've found. Supplies only help if you survive long enough to take them with you.
Spend your fuel to reach the next island. Follow the ship's trail. Always a step behind. Never out of hope.
The ship keeps moving. So must you.
World War II has been dragged into the modern age. Wartime factories and military outposts share the islands with demons and the undead, while hell bleeds into the world. Each shore changes how you explore, fight, and survive.
Your haven around an abandoned church. Gear up and prepare for your next expedition.
A Norwegian fishing village of quiet docks and coastal houses. Familiar doesn't mean safe.
A wartime factory with tight interiors and close-quarters encounters.
An exposed airstrip with long sightlines. Search open ground for supplies and your crew's trail.
A military outpost built to shelter the living. Its barracks and hospital offer little comfort in a world haunted by the dead.
Ancient walls conceal an unknown interior. Explore the castle and follow your ship's trail.
Horror is at the heart of Strange Seas, not just the backdrop to a firefight. Demons and the undead are only part of what waits ashore. Ghosts disturb familiar places, and dark zones let hell bleed directly into our world.
Ghosts, apparitions, and voices without bodies disturb the islands. Something at the edge of your vision. A sound in an empty room. The feeling that you aren't alone.
Places where hell bleeds through into our world. Familiar surroundings give way to glimpses of somewhere you were never meant to see.
Modding isn't an afterthought. Strange Seas is being built around plug-ins from day one. Add guns, creatures, models, or whole islands to expand the Triangle.
Bring your favorite weapons into Strange Seas as weapon plug-ins.
Create new threats for the islands through creature plug-ins.
Expand the world with your own models, packaged as plug-ins.
Build new destinations using your own assets, assets from the game, or assets from other plug-ins.
Strange Seas is a single-developer passion project. I plan to ship a content-development project with agent documentation explaining how to develop content for use in Strange Seas. The goal is a documented starting point for creators and the coding agents helping them build game-ready plug-ins.
Tech Demo 1 is here. Get your first look at Strange Seas in motion.
A first look at Strange Seas.
Strange Seas is targeting a summer 2027 release.
A PCVR-only island-hopping horror extraction shooter.
No. Strange Seas is being built exclusively for PCVR. You'll need a PC and a PC-compatible VR headset. This is not a flatscreen game or a standalone headset release.
We're targeting a summer 2027 release. An exact date and supported headset details will be announced closer to launch.
Strange Seas is a solo-developer passion project, and I don't want anyone paying for features that might never arrive. I want to release a complete experience so you can decide whether you enjoy the game that's there, not the game it might become. I hope you love what I build, but if it isn't for you, I'd rather you request a refund than feel you paid for promises.

No. Zombies are just one of ten enemy archetypes. Strange Seas is an island-hopping horror extraction shooter about surviving the Triangle and finding your ship, not just fighting the undead.
Haunts bring ghosts, apparitions, and unsettling sounds to the islands. Dark zones are places where hell bleeds through into our world. The extraction loop is built around that horror setting, alongside encounters with demons and the undead.
Strange Seas is being built for mods from day one: everything is a plug-in. Add guns, creatures, models, or whole islands. A content-development project with agent documentation is planned. Read more in the modding section.
